Job Summary

Our Core Models Business Applications team is the primary resource for MathWorks master-data-management business systems. We work closely with business partners and adjacent teams to develop and advance company data applications to meet business needs,  We integrate core data into mission critical applications to serve our internal customers.

Responsibilities

As part of our dynamic team, you’ll be responsible for systems analysis, design, and development of company customer-data and product-data applications, including:

  • Technical maintenance of the services, APIs and ETL jobs, which move and transform core data, as well as the testing and roll out of those changes.
  • Collaborating with business users to translate logical data models, requirements and functional specifications into technical designs.
  • Coding and enhancing existing java web applications, and other core technologies with the team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a master's degree, or a PhD degree is required.
  • Expertise with Java
  • Proficiency with XML
  • Mastery of SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive Java programming experience     
  • Proficiency in XML, WSDL, SOAP, REST, Struts and SQL/database concepts
  • Some experience with the following:
    • Business process experience with CRM, Sales, Marketing and Product Management
    • Hibernate / ORM experience
    • Web Services creation and consumption
    • SOAP/XML and REST/JSON
    • Struts, Grails, or other MVCs
    • Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
